The Science-Policy Communications Fellowship brings together a diverse group of public health professionals, science communicators, and policy advocates dedicated to strengthening the link between scientific evidence and policymaking. These fellows will undergo comprehensive training, mentorship, and practical experience in science communication, advocacy, and policy engagement. The primary goal is to develop a cadre of skilled professionals capable of translating complex scientific data into accessible messages that influence policy and improve public health outcomes.

This fellowship is implemented by Nigeria Health Watch, in partnership with key stakeholders and in furtherance of the Global Policy Advocacy project, committed to advancing evidence-based health policies and impactful science communication in Nigeria.

The Science-Policy Fellowship is more than a learning programme, it is a movement to reimagine how science serves the public good. By investing in people, relationships, and systems, the SPF aims to catalyze long-term change in how policies are shaped, implemented, and sustained across Nigeria and the region.
