The U=U Campaign is an awareness targeting young people between 18 and 35 years. U=U stands for Undetectable equals Untransmittable which means that the viral load of a person adhering to his/her antiretroviral medications as prescribed by the doctor is so low that it cannot be detected using standard test. The objectives of this campaign are to:Increase the awareness of HIV prevention among the young population (18 – 35 years) in Nigeria. Promote HIV/AIDS testing among young population (18 – 35 years) in Nigeria. Increase awareness of and adherence to HIV/AIDS treatment among young people living (18 – 35 years) with HIV/AIDS Reduce stigma and discrimination against young people (18 – 35 years) living with HIV/AIDS in Nigeria This campaign is being implemented with Support from US Center for Disease Control and Prevention (US-CDC) and APIN.
