Prevent Epidemics Project
Nigeria Health Watch with support from the Global Health Advocacy Incubator is working to prevent epidemics by building and demonstrating public and policymaker awareness for epidemic preparedness funding increases at the Federal level, Lagos and Kano states.
The Prevent Epidemics Project is driven by a commitment to protecting lives and building a healthier, more resilient nation. With a focus on enhancing and sustaining funding for Nigeria's epidemic preparedness and response capabilities, the initiative adopting a multi-sectoral approach, strives through a combination of advocacy, education, and capacity-building activities, to create lasting impacts in epidemic preparedness and response and ensure that Nigeria stands prepared to safeguard its population against any potential health crises.
