Senior Communications Manager

Asari is a Communications professional with more than 10 years of experience in media and communications within West Africa. Before joining Nigeria Health Watch, Asari led communications for the Centre for Journalism Innovation and Development and its Dubawa project, Nigeria’s first indigenous fact-checking platform across Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Liberia and The Gambia. Before this role, she has worked as an Editor at Ventures Africa, Order Paper and The Election Network under Anvarie Tech. While she completes a PhD in Communications and Media Studies, Asari remains keen on influencing the Nigerian media space and driving thoughtful narratives for the Nigerian millennial mind.
