Project Consultant

Dr. Uwaifiokun Okhuarobo is a Project Consultant supporting the Coalition Secretariat Partner (CSP) and the West African Health Organisation (WAHO) on Lassa fever vaccine preparedness across West Africa. His work focuses on strengthening regional coordination, supporting policy and advocacy processes, facilitating multi-country stakeholder engagement, and translating research evidence into actionable strategies that improve country readiness for vaccine introduction and outbreak response. He has extensive experience working with national and sub-national health authorities on surveillance, public health emergency management, and health systems strengthening. He is particularly interested in advancing evidence-informed decision-making for epidemic preparedness and response in resource-limited settings.
